Ingredients:

Step 1:

Peel the potatoes (Preferably Russet Potatoes) neatly. Cut up the potatoes in even shapes, and place them into a bowl of warm/hot water for ten minutes Preheat the oven to 475 degrees Drizze the oil your using (Preferably Vegetable Oil, or Peanut Oil) on a 18 by 13 inch baking sheet

Step 2:

Make sure the oil is spread across the sheet evenly Take the potatoes from the bowl, and make sure to dry them by patting them gently with paper towels Sprinkle salt, and pepper on the oiled baking sheet Spread the potatoes into an even layer onto the oiled baking sheet, make sure to have some space in between Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil, and bake for five minutes

Step 3:

Scrape the potatoes from the pan with a metal spatula, and flip it over Make sure it is positioned evenly, and bake until the fries are golden which usually takes 7-10 more minutes in the oven Take the potatoes out of the even, and place the fries on paper towels to drain Season with salt, and pepper if you'd like
